Americans are not experiencing the hard totalitarianism of the former Soviet gulags. Instead, it manifests control in soft forms. This tyranny is therapeutic. It masks its hatred of dissenters from its progressive utopian ideology in the guise of helping and healing. The end result is a political authoritarianism with an ideology that seeks to control all aspects of life.
