Episode Notes

Today we discuss the fifth barrier to Christian cultural engagement, "scriptural relativism." We live in a culture that has traded authority for personal preference. This is especially deadly when this philosophy enters the Church of Jesus Christ. We are witnessing entire denominations committing institutional suicide as they allow the culture to shape the gospel instead of vice versa. The late Francis Schaeffer described our current problem: "the failure of the evangelical world to stand for truth as truth." The Church must have the courage to stand for God's Truth as we engage the culture.
