Today on the Ron Johnson Discipleship Podcast: The life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus are historical events which provide a rock solid foundation for our comprehensive, Christian worldview. Jesus is the basis for freedom, forgiveness, justice & joy! Jesus modeled vulnerability in His interactions with people inviting them to be known and loved. As a result, He showed us how we could live free from shame's debilitating effects and how we, in turn, could help to set others free. On the cross, Jesus conquered shame by embracing it! And Jesus rose again to restore us to unhindered joy and intimacy with Him forever! This is the good news of the gospel!
